Vintage mechanical women wrist watch "Chaika" with 17 jewels in original box (see pictures). This watch is gold-plated.

In 1963, a historic event took place: a woman first visited space. Her name was Valentina Tereshkova. Her nickname in space was “Chaika” ("The Seagull"). In honor of this event, all of the watches in a watch factory began to be produced under the brand name "Chaika"; and in 1985, the factory was renamed "Chaika".
