HOW IT WORKS — THREE MOVES, ALL COMPUTED
• List the households. One row each with party size, RSVP and dietary flags — plates confirmed, veg and GF counts, and staying-over tallies compute themselves (the sample: 12 confirmed of 14 invited).
• Claim the dishes. Put a name on every dish; a dish with no cook is flagged UNASSIGNED in plain words, and dietary coverage is counted against your actual guests.
• Slot the ovens. Give every dish a time and an appliance — more oven dishes in one slot than ovens you own gets a CONFLICT flag on the row. In the sample, three dishes collide at 3:00 PM and a one-minute stagger (1:00 / 3:00 / 4:30) clears every flag.
