💚 The Story Behind the Design
The First Hydrangea was the very first time I explored a special eco printing method using dried hydrangea blossoms prepared in a madder root dye bath. When I gently unwrapped the bundle after steaming, an exceptionally beautiful cluster of hydrangea flowers appeared on the silk. That unforgettable moment of surprise became the inspiration for its name.

Unlike traditional eco printing, this piece celebrates not only the natural forms of the plants, but also the rich botanical color created by madder root. The warm orange-red impressions and the delicate blush pink background both come from the same botanical material—madder root.

To create this effect, I developed my own wrapping technique that allows the same plant to reveal two different tones during printing. The contrast between vivid orange-red and soft blush pink gives the scarf a luminous, spring-like atmosphere while preserving the delicate details of every petal and stem.

Scattered throughout the composition are also tiny wild daisies, meadow grasses, and naturally gathered branches. Their graceful silhouettes remain just as they grew in the open field, creating a quiet sense of movement across the silk.

Printed on luxurious mulberry silk satin, the natural sheen enhances the botanical colors, making this scarf elegant to wear and remarkably flattering to many skin tones.



❤️ Care
Gently hand wash separately in cool water with pH-neutral detergent. Please do not soak or bleach. Dry in the shade and iron on a silk setting if needed.

Each scarf is carefully wrapped in a handmade botanical eco-printed cotton bag.

A small botanical eco-printed card is also included. You can write your own message on it when giving the scarf as a gift, or you can simply keep it as a botanical bookmark.
