Rookie Birthday Invitation, Rookie Year 1st Birthday Boy, Our Little Rookie Turns One, Watercolor Sports Party Invite, Animated Mobile Evite

Seller's description

Your phone buzzes with a photo of a one-year-old holding a basketball almost bigger than he is, and that's when you know this Rookie birthday Invitation is the one. The white background with watercolor basketballs tucked in the corners feels clean but still playful, and the bold dark gray ROOKIE next to the orange script year gives it that fresh, sporty energy without looking cartoonish. It's built for a first birthday that leans basketball instead of the usual bat and glove theme. You type in the name, the date, the time, and it's ready to send or print. Simple, sporty, and it actually looks like someone designed it for a real party, not a template mill.

===
WHY THIS ROOKIE BIRTHDAY INVITATION
===

- Animated mobile evite included. Most editable invitations only hand you a flat picture to send. This Rookie birthday Invitation gives you a moving evite that grabs attention in a group text, and almost nobody in this theme offers it.
- Edit it tonight from your phone. You do not need a laptop or a print shop appointment. Type your details in the free Canva app and you have a card in minutes.
- One purchase, two versions. You get the printable card for the party table and the digital evite for the group chat, so you are not buying separate files.
- A basketball first birthday look that feels current and sporty, not another baseball card with a bat and glove on it
- Reuse with no expiration. Edit it again for the dessert table sign, favor tags, or thank you cards in the same style.

===
USE CASES
===

- A dad who played ball in college wants the invite to actually say basketball, and this one does, watercolor hoops and all, so he can text it to his old teammates.
- A mom picking party colors around orange and white finds the script year font matches the balloons she already ordered, so nothing feels mismatched.
- Grandma asks for a printed copy to tape on her fridge, and the clean white background prints sharp on regular cardstock without looking washed out.
- A group chat full of cousins gets the digital invite the same night the theme gets decided, no waiting on a shop to mail anything.
- A first birthday party at a local gym or court wants decor that actually reads basketball instead of generic sports, so the watercolor ball corners do double duty as the party's visual theme.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
===

Q: Does this invitation say baseball or basketball?
A: This design is basketball themed, with watercolor basketballs in the corners and the wording OLIVER'S ROOKIE year 1 and OLIVER'S 1ST BIRTHDAY, so it's meant for a hoops-themed first birthday.

Q: Will the orange script font show up clearly if I print at home?
A: Yes, the orange script year sits against the plain white background with good contrast, so it stays legible whether you print it yourself or send it to a print shop.

Q: Can I change the Rookie birthday Invitation colors to match my party?
A: Yes. The White and Orange colors, the watercolor basketballs, and every text color are editable in Canva, so you can warm it up or keep it soft. If you want a coordinating dessert sign or thank you card in the same look, check the rest of the shop for matching pieces.

Q: Does the animated mobile evite really move?
A: Yes. The evite version has gentle motion that plays when your guests open it on their phone, which is what makes it stand out in a busy group text. You send it as a link or video through text, WhatsApp, or email, and there is nothing for your guests to download.

Q: Can I edit this Rookie birthday Invitation on my phone?
A: Yes. Basic phone editing is supported through the free Canva app, so you can type the name, the date, and the address right from your phone tonight. A tablet or computer gives you a bit more room, but a phone is enough to finish and send it.

Q: Do I need to pay for Canva or design software?
A: No. The template opens in a free Canva account and there is nothing to install. Everything you need to change the wording and colors works on the free plan.

Q: How do I print the invitation once it is done?
A: Download the print ready PDF with crop marks and print at home on cardstock, use a local print shop, or upload to an online printer. The file is sized 5x7 inches, and the JPG is best for texting or posting the invitation digitally.

Q: Will I get a physical invitation in the mail?
A: No. This is a digital template for personal use only and no physical item will be shipped. You receive editable files instantly so you can print or send them yourself the same day.

Q: Can I reuse this for other party items?
A: Yes. There is no expiration on your edits and downloads, so you can reopen the template for a matching welcome sign, favor tags, or thank you cards in the same style. Coordinating designs are available in the shop if you would rather grab a ready bundle.
