Headless Horseman Halloween Tapestry, Sleepy Hollow Gothic Wall Decor, Haunted Forest Art, 26 x 36 Inch

The Headless Horseman charges out of the moonlit woods while three young trick-or-treaters race toward the distant village. This dramatic 26 × 36-inch Halloween tapestry brings the terror, mystery, and autumn atmosphere of Sleepy Hollow folklore to a front door, foyer, hallway, or seasonal feature wall.

A dark rider emerges from the forest beneath an enormous harvest moon.
His horse is at full charge. His cloak tears through the night wind. Raised above him is a blazing jack-o’-lantern where his head should be.
On the path below, three costumed trick-or-treaters—a witch, a ghost, and a skeleton—run toward the distant lights of the village as the Headless Horseman closes in behind them.
The Headless Horseman Rides is a richly detailed Gothic Halloween tapestry inspired by Sleepy Hollow folklore, haunted autumn roads, old New England ghost stories, and the darker side of Halloween night.
The composition includes:
The Headless Horseman on a black horse
A raised jack-o’-lantern
An enormous moon
Bats crossing the night sky
Twisted woodland trees
Falling autumn leaves
Three trick-or-treaters carrying lanterns
A distant Gothic village and clock tower
A haunted forest road leading into town
The scene balances genuine menace with recognizable Halloween tradition. It is frightening and atmospheric without relying on gore, comedy, or childish cartoon imagery.
The vertical 26 × 36-inch format is particularly suited to:
Sheltered front-door Halloween displays
Entry vestibules
Gothic foyers
Hallway feature walls
Covered porches
Seasonal living-room walls
Haunted-house entrances
Halloween boutique and retail displays
Use it to transform an ordinary doorway or wall into the road leading into Sleepy Hollow—just as the Horseman begins his midnight ride.
The Headless Horseman Rides is part of Cavern Emporium’s Halloween 2026 collection of Gothic, folkloric, vintage, frightening, and atmospheric seasonal artwork. Links below:
