You can add a gift message (that's free!) and you can upgrade to a super spiffy gift-wrapped option for a small extra fee. If you don't want the extra gift wrap, the jewelry will still come packaged in a cute, simple white box tied with a pretty ribbon.

Many of my earrings are made with gold-filled or rose gold-filled metal. Gold-filled is made by heat- and pressure-bonding a thin layer of karat gold to a brass (or other base metal) core. Karat gold covers the brass surface, making it tarnish-resistant. The value of gold-filled is greater than gold-plated because gold-filled has an actual layer of karat gold, not just a microscopic film. Gold-filled should last decades (or longer!) as opposed to gold-plated, which has such a thin layer of gold that it starts to rub off after a short time.

Rose gold-filled has a bit more copper blended in to create a warm rosy hue.
