A unique mix-media mosaic glass picture "The Bird of Paradis".

This shiny bird combines acrylic painting with mosaic glass tiles.
I began by drawing and painting the bird and the background with acrylic paints, than creating the bird on top, piece by piece. The mosaic process is similar to drawing, just with small glass parts.
This beautiful and shiny bird was created on a canvas base, and the mosaic itself is made out of colorful glass, red, orange, yellow, gold and blue. There are some special parts with napkins, for additional texture. Each piece is carefully cut by hand.

This is a one of a kind picture and it is ready to hang on a wall, just put it on a nail.
