This cardigan is one of my favorite projects. It took me more than two months to complete, and every single spikelet was knitted with patience and love. The result is a unique, elegant cardigan with beautiful texture and movement that always attracts attention.

At first glance, the Asian Spikelet Stitch may look difficult and intimidating. The cardigan itself may seem like a project only experienced knitters can make. However, the stitch is built from simple knit and purl stitches, and with patience and clear instructions, it becomes much easier than it appears.

This pattern was developed and tested in Size S.

The finished cardigan comfortably fits XS and S sizes and may also fit some M sizes, depending on the desired fit and body measurements.

At this time, I have not developed or tested larger sizes, as I have only knitted this cardigan in the sample size shown in the photos.
