These consonant and vowel sound printables are what every kid with dyslexia needs. Actually, every kid with or without dyslexia can benefit from these printables.


LONG VOWELS ARE HARD TO LEARN for some kids. There is no one way to learning these sounds especially with dyslexia. Putting pictures to letters and sounds really got the ball rolling “finally” for our son.

Add this to your current curriculum or use it as a fun exercise to brush up on vowel sounds.

I kept it as simple as possible. I did not put in any words that were exceptions to the rules or had a different sound to them.

The hard stuff can come later. If the student is to the point where you can work on a few spelling rules, go for it! There are no set rules here.

You can print off only a couple of sheets at a time and only work on those. The more they work on them the better!
