DECIDE THE GIFT BUDGET, THEN SHOP
The Gift Budget tab is the one people tell us they open first. Put your target
at the top, give every person an amount, and watch what is left to assign move
as you type. Everyone fits on one screen, so when you are two hundred over you
can pull three people back and see the gap close without scrolling anywhere.
Then your actual spending flows against those numbers per person, so in
December you can see you are under on your sister and forty over on your
father while there is still time to do something about it.

IT KNOWS WHEN BLACK FRIDAY IS
The countdown works in the jobs you actually do, gifts, cards, decorating,
hosting, parties you are attending, food and travel, not in vague month
buckets. Every task carries a suggested date computed from the year, so the
file is right in 2027 and 2028 without you touching it. Four gift tasks land
before Black Friday on purpose: settle the list, set the budgets, ask for
sizes, and save the links, so you walk into that weekend with a plan instead
of a browser full of tabs.

TRACK WHAT YOU ORDERED
Store, shipper, tracking number, the link you bought from as a real clickable
link, and the date it is supposed to arrive. If that date passes and it has
not turned up, the row says Chase it. The Dashboard counts how many are
waiting on you.

CHRISTMAS DINNER, TIMED
Tell the Oven Plan when you want to eat and it works every dish backwards to
when it goes in. It flags the two things that actually ruin Christmas dinner:
dishes that want the oven at different temperatures at the same time, and more
dishes than you have shelves.

ABOUT THE GIFT TAGS
They are designed for 65 lb cover stock or heavier. On ordinary copy paper
they go soft under a ribbon and curl within a day. We would rather say that
than have you print a sheet on copy paper and be disappointed.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Open START-HERE.pdf and put the year on the Start Here tab.
2. Fill the yellow cells. Only yellow cells are yours to type in; everything
else calculates itself, and the formula cells are locked so they cannot be
overwritten by accident. There is no password, so you can unlock anything
you want to change.
3. Print what you need, when you need it.

FORMATS AND COMPATIBILITY
Works in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets (free, import steps included) and
LibreOffice. Printables are standard US Letter and A4 PDFs for home printing.
This is a digital download, so no physical item ships. Nothing you enter
leaves your device: no links out, no macros.
