Pulled from the Southwood High School library in Caddo Parish, Louisiana.

The card was pulled. The official stamps stop. And then somebody picks up a pen, and the borrowing just carries on — 2 more years of loans the library never officially made, written in by hand, in whatever pen was nearby.
