Antique American Brilliant Period Cut Crystal Bowl 11" Oval Centerpiece with Pinwheel, Hobstar, and Fan Motif, Sawtooth Rim, Circa 1900. Bring the unmatched elegance of the Gilded Age into your home with this magnificent American Brilliant Period (ABP) cut glass centerpiece bowl. Dating from the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1880–1915), this piece showcases the breathtaking, high-relief hand-cutting that defined American glasswork at its absolute peak. Crafted on a water-clear, heavy lead crystal blank, the bowl features a deeply cut geometric design. Large, swirling pinwheels radiate light from the center, beautifully framed by alternating panels of finely crosshatched hobstars, delicate fans, and step-cuts. The dramatic, deeply scalloped sawtooth rim gives this elegant oval dish a striking silhouette that looks stunning empty or filled on a dining table or sideboard.

As is typical and expected with genuine antique glassware over a century old, there may be microscopic flea-bites along the sharp hand-cut teeth or light shelf wear on the bottom contact surface.
Note: Unsigned, which is common for many premium glasshouses of this era whose paper labels washed away long ago.
Care: Hand wash only in lukewarm water with mild soap. Never place antique lead crystal in a dishwasher.
Packaging: This fragile antique will be double-boxed and extensively wrapped in bubble wrap to ensure its absolute safe arrival.
