💚 The Story Behind the Design
On summer evenings, my husband and I often walk through a nearby meadow. We have seen many beautiful moments there—the changing sky, trees and grasses, the setting sun, and fields of yellow flowers stretching beneath the vast open sky.

I wanted to preserve something of that landscape through botanical eco printing, even if what I could express was only a very small part of its beauty.

It was the season when coreopsis was in bloom. Coreopsis produces a clear, luminous yellow and has very good colorfastness, so I used the flowers together with annual fleabane and grasses collected from the surrounding landscape. Their forms express both the quietness of the wilderness and the resilient life of plants growing freely in nature.

For the background, I layered several natural dye extracts to create the changing colors of the sky and earth. I also used a resist-dyeing technique to form the softly moving sea of clouds beneath the moon.

When I opened the bundle, I was amazed by the colors the plants had revealed. The pale sky above and the deep earth tones below appeared with such natural contrast, while the yellow flowers seemed to glow against the darkness.

Made from silk satin, this 90 × 90 cm scarf has a gentle sheen that brings additional depth to the colors. Its generous size allows it to be worn in different ways, with each arrangement revealing a different balance of light and shadow.

It is an elegant scarf to wear and, with its strong composition, can also be displayed as a piece of botanical textile art inspired by the quiet power of the wilderness.


❤️ Care
Gently hand wash separately in cool water with pH-neutral detergent. Please do not soak or bleach. Dry in the shade and iron on a silk setting if needed.

A small botanical eco-printed card is also included. You can write your own message on it when giving the scarf as a gift, or you can simply keep it as a botanical bookmark.
