Bass Harbor Head Light stands above Acadia's pink granite shoreline on the
quiet southwestern tip of Mount Desert Island — seen from down among the
rocks where visitors scramble for that unforgettable view.

The warm granite, dark evergreens, blue Atlantic water, and white
lighthouse make this one of Acadia's most recognizable scenes. Established
in 1919, Acadia was the first national park east of the Mississippi.

This vintage-inspired poster reimagines the view in the spirit of classic
