Dachshund Quilt Pattern, Dog Wall Hanging Quilt Pattern PDF, Easy Floral Applique Quilt for Beginners, Doxie Gift, Raw Edge Fusible Applique

🌸 Welcome to WildbloomQuilts - bold, colourful folk-art quilt patterns for makers who love vivid, joyful projects. 🌸

⚠️ TECHNIQUE - PLEASE READ FIRST: RAW-EDGE FUSIBLE APPLIQUE
This is a raw-edge fusible applique pattern. The templates print at FINISHED SIZE with NO seam allowance and NO dashed turn-under lines, and they come as numbered full-size layout sheets - not as separate cut-out pieces. You trace each shape onto paper-backed fusible web, iron it to your fabric, cut on the drawn line, peel, press it in place, and stitch over the raw edge with a blanket or narrow zigzag stitch. Paper-backed fusible web is required. This is NOT a turned-edge / needle-turn pattern, and there are no dotted seam-allowance lines to turn under.

This charming folk-art dachshund is rendered in classic black and tan, his long sleek body decorated with a garland of bold retro blooms in cream, coral pink, soft pink, and lavender, each with a warm golden centre and framed by sage-green leaves. The contrast of the deep black body against those vivid floral colours gives the design a striking, joyful energy that is pure folk-art at its best. Set against a clean white background, every petal and leaf pops with gorgeous clarity, making this the perfect showpiece for a quilted wall hanging or a gift for the dachshund lover in your life. Stitching this design is a delight from start to finish, as each flower and leafy sprig builds up into something that feels both playful and beautifully composed.

Every pattern in this shop is my own work, from the first line to the last page. I draw each design by hand as an original vector illustration in Adobe Illustrator, then develop it into a ready-to-sew applique pattern - every cutting line, every fabric colour, every template page and instruction. Each one takes time and a lot of care, and I hope that comes through when you stitch it.
