Vintage 50s 60s Summer Dress Belted Sun Dress Day Dress Full Skirt Blue Aqua Floral Sheer With Petticoat Pearl Accent Rockabilly Pinup Girl. A classic beauty! A sheer white nylon or voile(?) with a ghost floral pattern that creates the perfect backdrop for an all over sprinkling of aqua and blue floral blooms! Rounded collar and cuffed short sleeves. Accented with a draped strand of pearls at collar. A "spin around" full skirt. Matching belt and shoulder pads. Under that skirt is a polished cotton, tiered petticoat with an eyelet bottom ruffle. It has been tacked in and can be easily removed as it is coming undone at back. This dress seems to have been professionally handmade!

Not only is this a sensational dress but....it is in near mint condition! I purchased a few pieces from an estate that all the clothing was in near mint condition! Clean and pressed - collars and cuffs were lined and pined with cardboard to keep their shape, etc! This one still has one piece of cardboard in sleeve cuff. The only issue I see with this beauty is 2 spots near collar, under pearls - the pearls seem to have "bled" onto the fabric and a small mark on right shoulder. I have not washed this dress and I bet those stains will come right out! Wear this anywhere for a breath of fresh air!!!
