Highlights

  • Designed by DissentByDesign1

  • Materials: cotton, combed cotton, cotton jersey, ringspun cotton

"He has obstructed the Administration of Justice" — Grievance No. VIII of the Declaration of Independence, printed verbatim on a soft unisex t-shirt as a letterpress-style broadside.
A quiet protest you can wear: obstruction of justice was a founding grievance in 1776, and the document still speaks for itself.

THE DETAILS
• Soft, midweight cotton tee with a comfortable unisex fit — runs true to size, check the size chart below
• Bold Clarendon slab-serif type in federal navy on an aged laid-paper field, framed by an engraved double rule with a printer's fleuron and a vermilion accent rule
• The 'IN CONGRESS, JULY 4, 1776' kicker and letterspaced grievance footer complete the period broadside
• Machine wash cold, inside out; tumble dry low — the print is made to last

THE STORY
The founders didn't editorialize — they enumerated. This shirt prints one grievance from the Declaration of Independence exactly as written, in the visual language of an 18th-century letterpress broadside, and lets the reader do the work. No slogans, no commentary: just the document. A sharp, understated gift for law students, civics teachers, historians, and anyone who believes the rule of law is worth defending.
