About Crazy Horse Leather

Crazy Horse leather is a premium full-grain leather valued for its rich texture and the unique patina it develops over time. As the leather is used, it naturally acquires marks and subtle scratches that enhance its vintage appearance rather than diminish it.

No two pieces are exactly alike, making every desk mat one of a kind with its own natural character.

Care Instructions

Crazy Horse leather is designed to age gracefully and will naturally develop signs of everyday use. If you prefer to preserve a more even finish, occasional conditioning with a quality leather balm, wax, or conditioner is recommended.

For best results:

- Wipe away any dust before treatment.
- Apply a small amount of leather conditioner using a soft, dry cloth.
- Spread it evenly across the surface.
- Allow the leather to dry completely before placing items on the mat.
- Applying too much product or using the mat before it has fully dried may result in an uneven appearance. If this happens, place the mat under a flat, heavy object and apply a light additional coat of conditioner if needed.

Important Information

- Crazy Horse leather is not waterproof. Avoid prolonged contact with water or other liquids.
- Natural marks and small scratches may already be present or may develop during shipping and everyday use.
These are normal characteristics of this leather. Because every hide is unique, slight differences in color, grain, and texture should be expected.
- Screen settings and lighting may cause colors to appear slightly different from the actual product.
- If the desk mat arrives with slight curves from packaging, simply place a heavy object on each corner for several hours until it lies flat.
