🌸 Welcome to WildbloomQuilts - bold, colourful folk-art quilt patterns for makers who love vivid, joyful projects. 🌸

⚠️ TECHNIQUE - PLEASE READ FIRST: RAW-EDGE FUSIBLE APPLIQUE
This is a raw-edge fusible applique pattern. The templates print at FINISHED SIZE with NO seam allowance and NO dashed turn-under lines, and they come as numbered full-size layout sheets - not as separate cut-out pieces. You trace each shape onto paper-backed fusible web, iron it to your fabric, cut on the drawn line, peel, press it in place, and stitch over the raw edge with a blanket or narrow zigzag stitch. Paper-backed fusible web is required. This is NOT a turned-edge / needle-turn pattern, and there are no dotted seam-allowance lines to turn under.

This enchanting folk-art design features a bold calico cat seated serenely among a garden of tulips beneath a deep navy night sky, its geometric pieced body rendered in vivid patches of burnt orange, creamy white, and rich black. A golden crescent moon, four-pointed stars, and soft cream clouds drift overhead, while hot pink, magenta, and purple tulips with bright green stems and leaves frame the cat on either side, filling the scene with joyful colour and storybook charm. The whole composition has the luminous quality of a stained-glass window, with strong black outlines separating every shape and giving the design its striking, graphic energy. Every angular piece — from the cat's triangular ears and whisker-fine white muzzle to the faceted tulip blooms and mosaic grass — is a pleasure to fussy-cut and fuse, making this a truly rewarding project for quilters who love bold, expressive folk art.

Every pattern in this shop is my own work, from the first line to the last page. I draw each design by hand as an original vector illustration in Adobe Illustrator, then develop it into a ready-to-sew applique pattern - every cutting line, every fabric colour, every template page and instruction. Each one takes time and a lot of care, and I hope that comes through when you stitch it.

AI-assisted tools have been used to create or enhance some product mockups and backgrounds. AI is used for presentation purposes only and does not generate or alter the digital pattern/product being sold.
