Egg-Shaped Privacy Door Knob Set — Antique Brass

A complete, vintage-inspired interior lockset for bedrooms, bathrooms, powder rooms, home offices, and other interior spaces requiring privacy. Precision-cast from zinc alloy and finished with a protective clear coat in a warm, gently aged golden-brass tone.

SPECIFICATIONS & FIT — PLEASE MEASURE BEFORE ORDERING
Installing door hardware permanently alters your door. Confirm your door's thickness and backset before purchasing; non-standard sizes may require modification or may not fit at all.

PRODUCT DIMENSIONS:
• Knob: 58 × 35 mm (≈ 2 1/4" × 1 3/8")
• Rosette: 75 mm diameter (≈2 15/16")
• Projection: 67 mm (≈ 2 5/8")
• Net weight: 2 lb 3 oz

WHAT'S INCLUDED:
• 2 × Knobs
• 2 × Rosettes
• 1 × Adjustable privacy latch
• 1 × 5/16" square spindle
• 1 × Strike plate
• Mounting screws and necessary Allen keys

MATERIAL & FINISHES
• Knob and rosette: precision-cast zinc alloy with a durable clear protective coating. (Not solid brass.)
• Solid brass components: full-length latch bolt, latch faceplate, and strike plate — the parts you see on the door edge and frame once installed, plus the bolt that does the work inside the mechanism. On privacy sets, the push button is solid brass too.
• Latch mechanism housing: zinc-plated iron.
• Antique Brass — a warm, gently aged golden-brass tone. (This is a brass-toned finish applied over zinc alloy, not solid brass and not a reclaimed antique.)
• Champagne Bronze — a warm, low-glare champagne gold tone with an ultra-fine brushed hairline texture that resists fingerprints and reflections.
• Both finishes include the complete lockset with all mounting hardware.
• Slight color variation from the photos may occur due to lighting or monitor settings; the clear-coated finish itself remains color-stable.

DESIGN & STYLE
Form with history, built for modern living: the egg-shaped silhouette traces back to Georgian and Colonial Revival hardware. We distilled away the Victorian ornamentation to reveal its essential geometry — comfortable to grip, timeless in feel, and equally at home in Vintage, Transitional, or Modern Farmhouse interiors.

Quiet classical detailing: a stepped rosette and exposed screws lend subtle layering, with a restrained farmhouse-industrial character.

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING
Privacy function only. Interior push-pin: press to lock, pull to release; includes an exterior emergency release pinhole. Intended for interior privacy use — bedrooms, bathrooms, powder rooms, home offices, nurseries, and walk-in closets. Not suitable for entry or security doors.

Every set is newly manufactured and finished (not reclaimed or antique). "Vintage" refers to the heritage-inspired styling, not the item's age.
