THE YEAR

It opens in January on Blackhead in deep winter and closes in December on the snow of Thomas Cole and Black Dome. In between: spring runoff on the Neversink, summer green at Diamond Notch Falls, and autumn color at Plattekill Falls. A year in the Catskills, in order.

ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER

Every frame was taken in person by Eric Hazard, Catskill 3500 Club member #2132 who spent years climbing and leading hikes across these peaks.
