Two surfers walk into the ocean with their boards as the last light of the day spreads across the water in this warm, painterly coastal scene.

The figures are seen from behind, already ankle-deep in the surf and heading toward the next set of waves. One carries a pale blue board, the other a cream board, keeping the human element simple while the sunset remains the dominant part of the composition.

Golden light runs from the horizon across the wet sand and shallow water. Peach, coral and soft lavender clouds fill the sky above, while blue-green waves break farther offshore.
