Ornate Gold & Champagne Cherub Wall Mirror with Display Shelf

An elaborate decorative wall mirror combining Old World architectural details, an antiqued two-tone finish, and an integrated display shelf.

The arched frame is richly ornamented with fluted column-style sides, raised floral and foliate details, and a charming winged cherub / putti figure beneath the shelf. Warm gold and gilt highlights layer over a muted champagne-silver base, creating depth throughout the sculptural details.

The small projecting shelf is what makes this piece especially interesting. Rather than functioning as a mirror alone, it provides a little display space for a miniature, tiny keepsake, small figurine, or other lightweight decorative object.

Its dramatic architectural form works beautifully with Italianate, Rococo, Baroque, Traditional, French-inspired, romantic, and collected interiors.

🌿 CONDITION

Very good pre-owned condition with an intentionally aged Old World appearance.

• Mirror glass remains intact
• Ornate dimensional details present beautifully
• Integrated display shelf remains intact
• Hanging bracket remains present on the reverse
• Gold and champagne finish shows intentional distressing, patina and tonal variation throughout
• Additional age-related finish variation and signs of previous display may be present

The aged appearance is an important part of the design. The combination of gilt highlights, darker recessed areas, and muted champagne-silver tones emphasizes the frame's dimensional ornamentation rather than creating a perfectly uniform finish.

🌿 STYLING IDEAS

• Give it its own moment above a small chest, vanity, or console and place a miniature collectible on the shelf.
• Incorporate it into a gallery wall where its sculptural shape adds dimension among framed artwork.
• Style it with antique brass, traditional artwork, porcelain, and dark woods for a layered Old World interior.
• Its smaller display shelf also makes it a charming accent for a powder room, dressing area, entryway, or bedroom.
