Seller's description

This octopus lamp glows from within: an octopus curls over a brain coral globe, and when you switch it on the whole piece lights up. Now available cordless, so it can glow anywhere.

The Octopus Brain Coral Lamp is sculptural lighting for people who want their ocean room decor to actually do something. Each one is hand finished in Eureka, California, on the Northern California coast. The brain coral form is built in matte white with the ridged, folded surface of the real thing, and the octopus is made separately and set over the top so the arms wrap the curve.

CHOOSE YOUR SIZE
12 inch: the centerpiece. The largest of the family, the focal point of a room.
10 inch: the showpiece. Commands a console table, an entryway, or a mantel.
8 inch: the statement piece. Sized for a shelf or the center of a coffee table.
6 inch: the versatile one. A nightstand lamp that reads as art during the day.
4 inch: the accent. Fits a desk corner, a bathroom shelf, or a nursery dresser.

CORDED OR CORDLESS
Corded: plug in and glow all night.
Cordless (pre-order): charge it, then set it anywhere for up to 8 hours of glow. A dinner table centerpiece, a bookshelf with no outlet nearby, a nightstand without a cord to hide. Cordless lamps ship by mid-November, in time for Christmas.

Every lamp comes with a multifunction remote, battery included. From your couch or bed you can:
Turn it on and off
Choose from 13 light colors, from warm white to deep ocean blue

WHAT ARRIVES
Your lamp, the octopus already fitted
Multifunction remote with battery
5 ft power cable (corded) or charging cable (cordless)
No bulb to buy, no assembly, no tools

ADD-ONS
Sea Animal USB Plug: a matte white wall plug with a raised sea turtle and starfish, made to match your lamp. Most phone chargers work too, but this one looks like it belongs.

MADE FROM ALGAE
The body is Algae Resin Composite, a material that starts as farmed sugar kelp rather than petroleum. Kelp grows fast, needs no fresh water and no fertilizer, and the farms it comes from improve the water around them. It felt like the right thing to build a coral reef out of.

A GIFT THAT LANDS
Housewarmings, beach house decor, an octopus lover who has enough mugs and tote bags, a coastal bedroom that needs one unusual lamp, a nursery that deserves better than a plastic star projector. It arrives ready to hand over.

The octopus lamp has great detail, nicely made. The look and feel of the lamp is awesome. The color and look exceeded my expectations. It will be a perfect addition to my sunroom. I will probably buy another one. Couldn't be happier. Highly recommend. The 8" is the perfect size too, although when I reorder, I might get the 10" or even the 12" cuz it really looks awesome. Also, Bryce responded quickly to my questions and shipping was very fast. Extremely happy.

Alison Oct 25, 2026

This is my second order. First time I purchased a smaller red lamp which looks great on my nightstand. I loved it so much that I wanted a bigger one for a side table. The seller was quick and wonderful as usual and suggested the new deep burgundy which he said was gorgeous. He wasn’t lying!! Wow! It looks just like a great Pacific octopus with the deep burgundy color. The detail in the brain coral is amazing (I’m a scuba diver/instructor and it looks just like the real thing). I love that the material is different and better for the environment vs other plastics. The plug is the added final touch to make it special with its raised marine life on each side. Highly recommend!

Octopus lamp - Gorgeous. Bigger than I expected (yes, I know the measurements are provided, but it's not the same as seeing it in person). Absolutely over the moon with this item. I love it.
