Amethyst Moth Quilt Pattern, Raw Edge Fusible Applique PDF, Celestial Moth Pattern, Patchwork Wall Hanging, Folk Art Quilt Template

🌸 Welcome to WildbloomQuilts - bold, colourful folk-art quilt patterns for makers who love vivid, joyful projects. 🌸

⚠️ TECHNIQUE - PLEASE READ FIRST: RAW-EDGE FUSIBLE APPLIQUE
This is a raw-edge fusible applique pattern. The templates print at FINISHED SIZE with NO seam allowance and NO dashed turn-under lines, and they come as numbered full-size layout sheets - not as separate cut-out pieces. You trace each shape onto paper-backed fusible web, iron it to your fabric, cut on the drawn line, peel, press it in place, and stitch over the raw edge with a blanket or narrow zigzag stitch. Paper-backed fusible web is required. This is NOT a turned-edge / needle-turn pattern, and there are no dotted seam-allowance lines to turn under.

This magical Amethyst Moth spreads its wings in a breathtaking palette of deep violet, vivid magenta, electric blue, and rich teal, all set against a crisp white background that makes every jewel-toned piece sing. The wings are alive with geometric folk-art patchwork — bold chevrons, feathered plumes, and mosaic-like shards of colour — studded with golden crescent moons, eight-pointed stars, diamond sparks, and glowing ring motifs that give the whole design a celestial, stained-glass quality. The moth's plump body is layered in purple and magenta scales, crowned with magnificent feathered antennae in shades of plum and violet, lending it the feel of a creature stepped out of midnight folklore. This is a thoroughly joyful pattern to piece together, rewarding makers with a wall-hanging showstopper that glows with colour and cosmic wonder from every angle.

Every pattern in this shop is my own work, from the first line to the last page. I draw each design by hand as an original vector illustration in Adobe Illustrator, then develop it into a ready-to-sew applique pattern - every cutting line, every fabric colour, every template page and instruction. Each one takes time and a lot of care, and I hope that comes through when you stitch it.
