Philodendron Moonlight Live Plant, Neon Chartreuse Upright Houseplant

Seller's description

PHILODENDRON ‘MOONLIGHT’

A LIVING GRADIENT OF LEMON-LIME, CHARTREUSE AND GREEN

Moonlight does not need variegation to command attention. Its color comes from the leaf itself: new foliage can emerge in glowing lemon-lime, yellow-chartreuse or nearly fluorescent green before gradually deepening into richer shades as it matures.

Because leaves are continually developing at different stages, an established Moonlight can carry several generations of color at once. The result is a living gradient, with the newest leaf almost illuminated above deeper green foliage.

COLOR AND STRUCTURE TOGETHER

Moonlight is a self-heading Philodendron rather than a long trailing vine. Broad, smooth leaves rise from a defined central crown on substantial petioles, building an upright, layered silhouette with strong architectural presence.

That growth habit makes the plant particularly effective where its form can be seen clearly: a plant stand, tabletop or curated foliage collection. Against burgundy and deep green plants, the newest chartreuse leaves become especially vivid.

THE COLOR CYCLE

The extraordinary yellow-green tones of Moonlight are part of normal foliage development rather than permanent variegation. Fresh leaves are generally the brightest. As they harden, they gradually become greener and form the backdrop for the next luminous leaf.

This constant renewal is the cultivar’s defining visual rhythm. Every emerging leaf begins the contrast again.

SELECT YOUR PLANT

Choose your preferred available growth stage from the dropdown. Pot measurements refer to the nursery container rather than total plant height. The variation menu identifies relative development and fullness.

CARE FOR BEAUTIFUL GROWTH

Light
Provide bright, indirect or filtered light. Strong suitable light supports compact growth and vivid new foliage. Protect leaves from prolonged harsh direct sun.

Water
Water thoroughly when the upper portion of the growing medium begins to dry, then allow excess water to drain freely.

Growing medium
Use a loose, airy and well-draining tropical or aroid mix.

Humidity and warmth
Moderate humidity and warm indoor conditions support attractive growth. Protect from frost and cold drafts.

Upkeep
Give new foliage room to unfurl naturally. Gently clean dusty leaves and feed during active growth according to the fertilizer label.

ARRIVAL & ACCLIMATION

Unpack promptly, check the growing medium and provide stable bright indirect light. Allow the plant time to settle before repotting or making major environmental changes.

Philodendrons are not safe to ingest. Keep out of reach of pets and small children.
