Your cheapest package is the one everybody books. It is also the one making you nothing.

Run the numbers on a typical mobile detailing menu and the express wash comes out at about two percent margin. Not two percent less than you hoped. Two percent, full stop. A dollar and ninety-three cents a car.

It is half your bookings and a third of your week, and it is paying for none of them.

This workbook prices a five-line menu instead of a single job, and tells you which lines can survive being posted on a website.


WHY A MENU PRICE IS NOT A QUOTE

A quote is written after you have seen the car. A menu price is written before.

You cannot go back and add an hour because the boot was worse than it looked. So a posted price needs more cushion than a bespoke quote, not less - which is the opposite of how most detailers set them.

The target margin in this file starts at forty percent for exactly that reason.
