Cinema Birthday Invitation, Movie Birthday Invitation, A Night At The Movies, Retro Hand Drawn Doodle Party, Editable Canva Template & Evite

Your tween already rolls their eyes at anything too babyish, and this cinema birthday invite in white and red hand-drawn sketch style is the one they will actually want you to send. Red line-art 3D glasses, a film reel, popcorn bucket, soda cup, stars, and loose popcorn kernels are sketched across the card with cross-hatched detail, next to hand-drawn lettering that reads A NIGHT AT THE MOVIES. It skips the cutesy cartoon look most movie invites go with and keeps things a little rougher and cooler, which is exactly what an older kid wants. Edit the name and age right in Canva, drop in Maddie's spot with your own kid's info, then download and print in a few minutes.

WHY THIS CINEMA BIRTHDAY INVITE

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

- Animated mobile evite included. Most editable invitations only hand you a flat picture to send. This cinema birthday invite gives you a moving evite that grabs attention in a group text, and almost nobody in this theme offers it.
- Edit it tonight from your phone. You do not need a laptop or a print shop appointment. Type your details in the free Canva app and you have a card in minutes.
- One purchase, two versions. You get the printable card for the party table and the digital evite for the group chat, so you are not buying separate files.
- A rougher, hand-sketched movie look built for the older tween crowd, cool and a little unpolished instead of cartoonish and babyish
- Reuse with no expiration. Edit it again for the dessert table sign, favor tags, or thank you cards in the same style.

USE CASES

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

- A tween who has outgrown cartoon birthday themes but still wants a movie night party, sent to friends who will actually think it looks cool.
- A parent texting the white and red sketch-style invite to a group chat of 10 and 11 year olds who would roll their eyes at anything too glittery or cartoonish.
- A home theater birthday bash where the popcorn bucket and film reil sketches on the card match the popcorn and soda being served that night.
- A last minute movie marathon sleepover where the host prints two extra copies of the red line-art invite for grandparents who like something to hold.
- A double feature backyard screening party where the hand-drawn 3D glasses and stars on the invite hint at the glasses guests will wear that night.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Q: Can I change the age from 10th to a different number?
A: Yes, the age is typed in a plain editable text line along with the name, so you can update it to match your own child's birthday in Canva before downloading.

Q: Is the A NIGHT AT THE MOVIES wording part of the design or can I change it too?
A: It is the printed headline on the invite in hand-drawn lettering, and since everything is editable text in Canva you can adjust it if you want different wording for your party.

Q: Can I change the cinema birthday invite colors to match my party?
A: Yes. The White and Red colors, the hand-drawn film reel and popcorn sketch, and every text color are editable in Canva, so you can warm it up or keep it soft. If you want a coordinating dessert sign or thank you card in the same look, check the rest of the shop for matching pieces.

Q: Does the animated mobile evite really move?
A: Yes. The evite version has gentle motion that plays when your guests open it on their phone, which is what makes it stand out in a busy group text. You send it as a link or video through text, WhatsApp, or email, and there is nothing for your guests to download.

Q: Can I edit this cinema birthday invite on my phone?
A: Yes. Basic phone editing is supported through the free Canva app, so you can type the name, the date, and the address right from your phone tonight. A tablet or computer gives you a bit more room, but a phone is enough to finish and send it.

Q: Do I need to pay for Canva or design software?
A: No. The template opens in a free Canva account and there is nothing to install. Everything you need to change the wording and colors works on the free plan.

Q: How do I print the invitation once it is done?
A: Download the print ready PDF with crop marks and print at home on cardstock, use a local print shop, or upload to an online printer. The file is sized 5x7 inches, and the JPG is best for texting or posting the invitation digitally.

Q: Will I get a physical invitation in the mail?
A: No. This is a digital template for personal use only and no physical item will be shipped. You receive editable files instantly so you can print or send them yourself the same day.

Q: Can I reuse this for other party items?
A: Yes. There is no expiration on your edits and downloads, so you can reopen the template for a matching welcome sign, favor tags, or thank you cards in the same style. Coordinating designs are available in the shop if you would rather grab a ready bundle.
