Backyard Movie Night Invitation, Girls Movie Birthday Invitation, Under The Stars Cinema Party, Outdoor Movie Party, Editable Canva Template

Seller's description

Picture the kids piling onto pillows in the backyard while a projector lights up a sheet strung between two trees, and this backyard movie night invitation sets that exact scene before the party even starts. The card glows with a dark blue starry sky, warm yellow string lights, and a pink striped popcorn bucket sitting next to a film reel and clapboard. Whimsical white, teal, and yellow lettering spells out the invite under a retro marquee border, with house silhouettes fading into the night behind it all. Amelia's 10th birthday shows on the sample, but the age inside the clapboard is plain text you can swap for any birthday number. Parents open the file, drop in their own name and date, and send it straight to the group chat or print it for the mailbox.

WHY THIS BACKYARD MOVIE NIGHT INVITATION

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

- Animated mobile evite included. Most editable invitations only hand you a flat picture to send. This backyard movie night invitation gives you a moving evite that grabs attention in a group text, and almost nobody in this theme offers it.
- Edit it tonight from your phone. You do not need a laptop or a print shop appointment. Type your details in the free Canva app and you have a card in minutes.
- One purchase, two versions. You get the printable card for the party table and the digital evite for the group chat, so you are not buying separate files.
- This one leans into the cozy backyard campout feel with pillows and stars set right beside the movie screen, so it feels like an actual outdoor movie night instead of just another ticket-shaped card.
- Reuse with no expiration. Edit it again for the dessert table sign, favor tags, or thank you cards in the same style.

- A grandmother receiving the printed invite in the mail and pinning it to her fridge, already asking if she should bring extra popcorn for the girls.
- A group chat where the host drops the digital invite in and friends reply with popcorn emojis before RSVPing for the Saturday night showing.
- A dad printing extra copies for classmates' cubbies, each one showing the same dark starry sky and pink popcorn bucket that matches the backyard setup he is building.
- A birthday girl picking out her own theme, thrilled the invitation shows cozy pillows and stars just like the blanket fort she wants for movie night.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Q: Can I change the 10th birthday text to a different age?
A: Yes, the age is written as plain text inside the clapboard graphic, so you can click it and type in any age or wording you like.

Q: Is this design bright enough to stand out as a printed card or is it mostly for phones?
A: The dark blue starry background is paired with bright yellow, pink, and teal text, so the colors show up strong whether you print it or send it as a digital invite.

Q: Can I change the backyard movie night invitation colors to match my party?
A: Yes. The Blue and Pink colors, the popcorn bucket and film reel under a starry sky, and every text color are editable in Canva, so you can warm it up or keep it soft. If you want a coordinating dessert sign or thank you card in the same look, check the rest of the shop for matching pieces.

Q: Does the animated mobile evite really move?
A: Yes. The evite version has gentle motion that plays when your guests open it on their phone, which is what makes it stand out in a busy group text. You send it as a link or video through text, WhatsApp, or email, and there is nothing for your guests to download.

Q: Can I edit this backyard movie night invitation on my phone?
A: Yes. Basic phone editing is supported through the free Canva app, so you can type the name, the date, and the address right from your phone tonight. A tablet or computer gives you a bit more room, but a phone is enough to finish and send it.

Q: Do I need to pay for Canva or design software?
A: No. The template opens in a free Canva account and there is nothing to install. Everything you need to change the wording and colors works on the free plan.

Q: How do I print the invitation once it is done?
A: Download the print ready PDF with crop marks and print at home on cardstock, use a local print shop, or upload to an online printer. The file is sized 5x7 inches, and the JPG is best for texting or posting the invitation digitally.

Q: Will I get a physical invitation in the mail?
A: No. This is a digital template for personal use only and no physical item will be shipped. You receive editable files instantly so you can print or send them yourself the same day.

Q: Can I reuse this for other party items?
A: Yes. There is no expiration on your edits and downloads, so you can reopen the template for a matching welcome sign, favor tags, or thank you cards in the same style. Coordinating designs are available in the shop if you would rather grab a ready bundle.
