This coral red agate necklace carries a 32 mm gold-tone spiral shell pendant at its center. One bead size holds the whole strand, 8 mm polished rounds from the clasp round to the shell.

It answers a taste for gold with strong color, worn by someone whose other necklaces stay plain. The shell makes it a statement necklace, for an anniversary dinner, a party, or a day out.

Worn over a t-shirt the beads sit below the throat and the shell on the collarbone, at 17.7 inches. Under your thumb the spiral's ribs stand up, and every bead is smooth.
