This February birthstone necklace, purple amethyst, takes a 35 mm openwork hexagon at its front, a lattice of small silver-tone flowers around an open middle. The strand is 6 mm faceted beads, stepping to 8 mm only where the two beside the pendant sit.

Worn alone it is a statement necklace, and a longer chain fits underneath. Someone whose jewellery is all silver and no colour can wear it to a wedding or an office day.

At 17.5 inches the beads close above the collarbone, and your fingertip meets a flat disc, then a small flower, then another disc.

Opposite the hexagon, at the back of the neck, Bekir and Seha closed the join. Only one Violet Lattice was strung with this flower hexagon, and this listing sells you that necklace.
