Please note: This is a DIGITAL CROCHET PATTERN (PDF file), not a finished toy!
Language: English (US crochet terms).
Level: Medium, but you must know the main stitches: single crochet, increase, decrease, and slip stitch.
Size: About 25 cm (10 inches) in height if it’s crocheted with the suggested materials.
This crochet pattern will help you to create a hilarious and charming Amigurumi Moody Octopus! Its body is made with a beautiful turquoise and lilac color yarn.
This tutorial is very easy to follow. This pattern contains 26 pages of step-by-step instructions for crocheting the toy, three complete outfits (Pajamas, T-shirt, and Hat), and a bonus tutorial for his mini Teddy Bear toy.
The description also includes helpful video links for the final face shaping, assembly details, and creating the unique suction cups.
Please note that you can use any yarn color you like.
Important: This is a LOW-SEW project! The body, arms, and legs are crocheted directly in one piece as you go. You only need to sew on the muzzle, eyes, and nose.
The materials suggested in this pattern (including a 4.00 mm crochet hook) will help you to create a toy that will be identical to the one in the photos.
If you have questions or difficulties in crocheting, you can ask me and I will gladly help you!
Please note: This is an unofficial, fan-made pattern inspired by childhood nostalgia.
It is for personal use only. You may sell finished toys made from this pattern, but please give design credit to @ALINETTOYS.
