This pack is the United States flag and all six service flags — Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force and Coast Guard — each at the full 1440x816 resolution, drawn at its official proportions and animated as a real piece of cloth.

They are not videos of flags. The cloth is simulated: a travelling wave runs through it, the surface normal is computed at every point, and the shading follows the folds rather than being painted on top of them. The colours narrow and widen as the cloth turns away from you, and the highlight travels along a crease instead of sitting on it. The wave completes exactly one cycle over the loop, so the last frame is the first frame again and it runs without a seam for as long as you leave the room.

Serving, veteran, or the family of either — and anybody whose deck sits on camera. It is the kind of thing somebody notices on a call and asks about, and unlike a static wallpaper it is still moving on the tenth time they see it. INSTALLING

About a minute. Gear icon, Devices tab, Set Screensaver, drop in the flag you want, click Set Animation. The guide walks it through with pictures, including the one mistake everybody makes, which is clicking "Set Image" and getting a still frame instead.

HONEST LIMITS

These are animated GIFs, so they need the Stream Deck app version 6.6 or newer. The Stream Deck MINI cannot display animations at all — that is a limitation of the hardware, not of these files, and it is better said here than discovered afterwards. This is a digital download, so nothing ships.

Every flag here was drawn from scratch in code by one person, from the official vector artwork, with no stock footage and no traced images — and that same person answers the messages. If something looks wrong, say so and you will get a real answer.
