Highlights
This finished piece of cross stitched needlepoint of the iconic image of Dutch kids kissing is a great addition for the home of people who are Dutch, of Dutch heritage, or people who love all things Dutch. Also good as a gift of love as the cute children in this hoop art have an innocent kiss. Done in shades of blue as is not uncommon for Dutch items.
The piece is stitched on 28 count light blue linen, with white and several shades of blue, cotton embroidery floss to give the image some depth and shadow.
The hoop is wood and measures five inches, or 12.7 cm, in diameter. The screw and brackets at the top add about a half inch, or 1.3 cm, to the top. The screw and brackets are also used for hanging.
It is backed with a piece of light blue felt sewn on with a running stitch.
Colors may vary depending on your monitor settings, stand not included.
If you would like to stitch this pattern yourself, it is also available in my shop. https://www.etsy.com/listing/265098932/dutch-kiss-cross-stitch-pattern-dutch?ref=shop_home_active_4
