Teen Entrepreneurship Workbook, Business Skills for Ages 11-14 (PDF Download)

Ten parts from an unsolved problem to a business your teenager can cost,
price, brand and defend under questioning. For ages 11 to 14.

WHAT YOU GET
- 47 page PDF, instant download
- 10 parts, about 45 minutes each
- Adult notes in every part, including when to stay out of it
- A one page business plan they fill in as they go
- A certificate at the end

WHAT IT COVERS
- Finding a problem worth solving, and who is already solving it
- Defining a real customer instead of "everyone"
- Fixed and variable costs, sorted properly
- Setting a price: floor, ceiling, profit per unit and break even
- Naming, branding and a tagline under eight words
- Building a pitch, and preparing for the three questions they dread

WHAT MAKES THIS THE OLDER VERSION
Break even is the calculation that kills unrealistic ideas, and it is in
here. So is competitor pricing, margin per unit, and a page where they
write out the hardest question somebody could ask and an honest answer to
it. The reflection prompts expect a real answer rather than a tidy one.

HOW IT WORKS
No schedule and no start date. Do one part on a rainy Sunday, three over a
holiday, or one a month. Nothing expires. Most students this age work
through a part on their own and talk it over with an adult afterwards.

THE DETAILS
- US Letter 8.5 x 11, prints clearly in black and white
- Works on a tablet with a stylus if you would rather not print
- A pencil is the entire materials list
- Print as many times as you like for children in your own household
