Highlights

Turn a few scraps of cotton into an heirloom-worthy folded fabric star that catches the light on your tree year after year. This beginner-friendly pattern walks you through every fold and layer with clear step-by-step photos, so even a first-time maker ends up with a crisp, professional 3D quilted Christmas star.

✦ What you'll receive (instant digital download):

A printable PDF pattern, 16 pages, print-ready at 100% on both US Letter and A4
A full-size template — base circle + numbered 8-point placement guide — with a 1 in / 2.5 cm print-scale test square
15 real, close-up process photos placed right beside each instruction
Complete cutting list, fabric-code guide, and colour-placement chart
Two methods included: a quick no-sew (fabric glue) version and an optional hand-sew version
A "Before You Begin" prep box, glue tips, troubleshooting, and a final checklist
Finished ornament measures approximately 6 in / 15 cm

✦ Who it's for:
Perfect for confident beginners through seasoned quilters and sewists. Use it to make Christmas tree ornaments, holiday gift toppers, garlands, and handmade gifts, or to build up cozy craft-fair stock. This origami-style fabric star is a beautiful way to use up cotton scraps and fat quarters — stitch it in classic green and cream for a Scandinavian folded star look, or swap colours for a rustic fabric star Christmas decoration that suits your home.
