# Created by a Teacher, Inspired by Real Classroom Experience
As an experienced teacher of younger children, I created this resource from a genuine need I saw in my own classroom.

I wanted a practical, child-friendly way to help children who experience behavioural challenges, communication difficulties and additional needs to **pause, understand what is happening, make a choice and use strategies to manage their emotions and behaviour**.

The idea developed through discussions with behaviour therapists and from my own experience working with young children. I took those ideas and created a simple, visual and interactive resource specifically designed with **younger children** in mind.

What makes this resource different is that it combines **visual strategies with technology**. Strategies can be changed, personalised and adapted to suit the individual child. Most importantly, it is portable — you can have it with you when you need it, whether that is in the classroom, at home, during transitions or in another setting.

I have found this approach particularly useful when supporting children with **language and communication difficulties, ASD, ADHD and other additional needs**, as the visual format can provide children with another way to understand and communicate what they need.

It can also help create consistency between **home and school**. Parents, teachers and other adults supporting a child can use the same strategies and language, helping children develop positive behaviours and build their own coping strategies over time.

This is a resource I created because I genuinely wanted something **simple, flexible, practical and suitable for younger children** — something that could be adapted to the child rather than expecting every child to respond to the same strategy.
