Calico Cat Quilt Pattern, Applique & Collage Quilt, Animal Quilt Pattern PDF, Patchwork Wall Hanging, Folk Art Quilt Template

🌸 Welcome to WildbloomQuilts - bold, colourful folk-art quilt patterns for makers who love vivid, joyful projects. 🌸

This cheerful folk-art calico cat sits serenely at the centre of a warm cream background, her bold patchwork coat flowing in sweeping sections of orange, black, and white, with a ringed grey-and-black tail curling around her paws. Pink-lined ears, bright green eyes, and a tiny pink nose give her an irresistible personality, while the raw-edge applique style makes every bold shape feel lively and graphic against the soft background. Surrounding her is a lush garden of blooms — a deep purple daisy, a vivid orange flower, a rich crimson blossom, and a budding purple tulip — all rising from layered green stems and leaves that spill across the lower foreground. The whole scene is framed by a striking striped border in teal, purple, green, crimson, orange, and gold, punctuated at each corner by a bright yellow diamond, making this design as joyful to stitch as it is to display.

The 24" and 30" sizes are included for anyone who would like that option - a wall hanging, a cushion front or a small hoop. Do note the pieces are a bit small at those sizes: many stitchers merge a couple of neighbouring pieces cut from the same fabric, or leave the tiniest accents out, and the design still reads beautifully.

Every pattern in this shop is my own work, from the first line to the last page. I draw each design by hand as an original vector illustration in Adobe Illustrator, then develop it into a ready-to-sew applique pattern - every cutting line, every fabric colour, every template page and instruction. Each one takes time and a lot of care, and I hope that comes through when you stitch it.
