Q: Why did you write these letters?
A: While visiting a living history museum in New York, I was reminded that the U.S. Constitution requires a postal service. My mind began spinning on how I could support this seemingly small part of our Constitution. Since I'm a writer, I knew I needed to tell a story, and what better way than through letters? Prison Letters came first, and now, Gulf War Letters. When I was in elementary school, I wrote to a serviceman and felt like I was doing my part in helping the war effort. That experience was the start of this story.

Q: Can I buy multiple sets and send them as gifts?
A: Absolutely! This is one of the reasons I wrote these letters. Who loves mail the most? Those who don't get out as often. Perfect for birthdays, Christmas, Mother's Day, etc.

To send to a loved one or friend, tell us the recipient's address, and we'll take care of the rest.

Q: What kind of research did you do to write these?
A: Tons! I spent more time researching than I probably did writing the letters.

Q: Are there any swear words in the letters or in your books?
A: No.
