Custom orders can NOT be cancelled once they have commenced or are completed, and are not returnable. Each made-to-order paperweight or pendant requires 2-4 business days for completion. If I have not yet shipped a regular order you are welcome to contact me to cancel and refund.

Paperweight Care: Please do not display in direct sunlight as it may cause fading of the image. Glass may be cleaned with glass cleaner. Pendant Care: Glass jewelry is sealed on the back with a non-toxic, water-based product which makes it resistant to water, but not waterproof. Please do not subject it to wet conditions like in the shower or while exercising. Extended direct contact with the skin will shorten the life of the clear sealer on the back. Glass surface may be cleaned with soft cloth.

Custom and personalized orders

My Custom Paperweight Section has paperweights in many shapes and sizes. Digital "Camera-Ready" artwork is required that does not need changes other than re-sizing and/or cropping. Preparing and locating artwork is NOT included in price of a custom paperweight. Paperweights requiring typesetting are listed separately in price menu. Digital photo file(s) should be in JPG or PNG format with size of the photo as large as possible for best resolution. Please email artwork to: BixlerandJohnson@gmail.com (not through an Etsy message) because it is a better quality image. Not sure what size paperweight is suitable? I would be happy to view your artwork and make a recommendation BEFORE you make a purchase.

Can you make make me a custom quote paperweight?

Yes, I have a Custom Paperweight Section. Each custom listing shows two prices: "With Buyer's Artwork" is when you provide the artwork (may be a typeset quote or an image), "Typesetting Required" is when I typeset the quote/copy for you in your chosen typeface. You may choose both the typeface style and color, and background color. A Typeface Selection Sheet is available with 22 choices. A gold, copper, silver, brown, black or custom color may be chosen for the border on edge of the glass. (Please inquire to see if a custom color is available.) Turnaround time for a custom order is usually 2-4 business days, providing the paperweight style and quantity is in stock.

"Marked As Gift" Definition

"Marked as gift" means the packing slip will print without price info, like a gift receipt. You may request this if you're having me ship directly to the gift recipient OR if you wish to enclose this when you gift the item yourself.

You may add a message for your gift recipient that will be printed on the packing slip (which is a gift receipt without prices) IF you check the "marked as gift" box.

Item Quantity Available

Some of my items have a quantity of 1 listed since they are custom made with a choice of border color or pendant bail finish. Because of this you will often see an "Only 1 Available" or "Only 1 Left" message below the listing photo. Please ignore this because more are usually available. The quantity cannot be increased at checkout. If a greater quantity is needed please contact me to customize a listing with the desired quantity and shipping discount.

Gift wrapping and packaging

You may purchase gift wrapping for a charge of $3.00 PER ITEM. Items are wrapped in tissue, then in a square bubble-wrap bundle. Gift wrap, ribbon, and gift card are added. Gift boxes are not used. If you choose the "Gift Message" option I can add your message to a gift card. Indicate the gift recipient's address if it is different from the address listed on your account.

Do You Offer Free Shipping? and Ship to All Countries?

I do not offer Free Shipping because shipping isn't really "free". It must be rolled into the item price or covered by a subscription membership. My shipping charges are greatly discounted from the actual shipping cost to make them more affordable. *** I regret that due to the German Packaging Act requiring sellers to pay an annual fee to ship packages into the country, I'm no longer taking orders that ship to Germany. If an order is placed with a German destination address I have no choice but to cancel it.

Can I Get Expedited Shipping?

Yes, a shipping upgrade to Priority Mail is available AT CHECKOUT. Any shipping overcharge over $1.00, due to zip code, will be refunded when label is printed. I no longer offer Priority Mail Express because of the unreliability of the expensive service. USPS no longer stands behind its 2-day money-back guarantee when it doesn't arrive on time. Please note that upgrading shipping does not mean your order will be rushed. It only applies to your shipping method and not the order creation. Please contact me prior to purchase if you have a time sensitive delivery date to see if it is possible. Thank you!

This glass pendant contains an illustration of the Letter L Lily-of-the-Valley Flower Fairy. "Flower Fairies" was a series of eight books, by Cicely Mary Barker, featuring her beautiful watercolor paintings. Shown with the Silver Plate bail and the Silver Plate 3 mm. round link chain. This would be a lovely gift for one with a May birthday. May's flower is the Lily-of-the-Valley and birthstone is emerald.

The small, flat rectangle glass tile measures 7/8 x 1 1/4 x 3/16" (22 x 32 x 5 mm) and is hand-painted on the back to match the artwork. A clear finish seals the image, but does not make it waterproof. The pendant has a medium size bail (extends 5/16" or 8 mm), available in six finishes.

When ordering please indicate the Chain Style & Finish and which Bail Finish you prefer in the two drop-down menus.

*The Ball Chains may be cut to a shorter length with scissors. They also come with two connectors so you may reconnect a shorter, cut-off piece and return it to the original 24" length.
