Spoon came dirty, felt cheap, font did not at all match the photo

Julia Oct 11, 2026

Response from Jessica M

Thank you for taking the time to write, Julia. An item arriving dirty isn't acceptable, and I'm sorry it reached you that way — I've raised the cleaning and inspection step with my production partner so it doesn't happen again. On the lettering: the engraving is cut exactly as the text comes through, and the sample photos show it in capitals, so a lowercase request produces a different look. I'm sorry that wasn't clearer before you ordered. I'd like to make this right — a full refund, or a remake in the format you pictured, whichever you'd prefer. Please message me and I'll sort it straight away.

The item I received is not even close to what’s depicted in the listing. When I contacted the seller to address the discrepancy, she attempted to gaslight me into thinking it was simply a matter of camera angles in the photos and lowercase versus uppercase lettering. I then found the exact same image used in this listing in at least four other shops, leading me to strongly believe that it’s either stolen or AI-generated or both.

Response from Jessica M

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry the item didn’t meet your expectations. The spoon you received is the same model shown in the listing photos, and the engraving was completed exactly as the personalization was entered. I offered a remake with the formatting adjusted to match the example images, but I understand you preferred not to move forward with that option. I always want customers to be happy with their purchase, and I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

Jennifer Sep 23, 2026

We are avid ice cream eaters, so this is a great idea for a small wedding day gift to my husband to be. It was not obvious from the photo description how 'thin' the metal of the spoon is. I do not expect this to withstand the robust nature of a 'hard' ice cream, nor my HtoB heavy-handedness. Otherwise, a lovely gift!

Response from Jessica M

Thank you so much for this thoughtful feedback, Jennifer — and congratulations on your upcoming wedding! You're right that the spoon's metal is on the delicate side, and I appreciate you saying so. If the spoon ever gives you trouble, please message me and I'll make it right. Wishing you and your husband-to-be a wonderful day!
