Create a fun Halloween Character Blanket with this detailed digital crochet pattern PDF. The tutorial includes 194 step-by-step instructions and 194 reference photos and is marked as a medium-level crochet project.

The finished blanket features four Halloween character panels: a purple vampire, orange jack-o'-lantern, black cat, and lime-green monster. Each section is finished with crocheted facial appliqués and surrounded by a coordinating striped border.

The pattern guides you through:

Building the four-color blanket base
Working the alternating single and double crochet texture
Color changes between panels
Creating the multi-round border
Vampire hair, eyes, fangs and facial details
Pumpkin eyes, nose and mouth
Black cat eyes, noses and whiskers
Green monster eyes, scar and mouth
Positioning and attaching the appliqué pieces
Final assembly and finishing

Each color-pair block is worked for 63 rows, and each completed square is approximately 24 × 24 inches before joining and bordering.

Materials needed:

Worsted-weight yarn in lime green, black, orange, lilac/purple, white, yellow and pink
6 mm crochet hook
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Optional fabric-safe adhesive for applied placement

The pattern uses US crochet terminology and includes detailed photo guidance for creating and positioning the character features.

Perfect for Halloween home decor, seasonal throw blankets, handmade gifts, spooky crochet projects, and crocheters who love colorful character designs.
