Original Fashion Painting Illustration of a vintage gown designed by Ceil Chapman. Since it was not a commission, I made the skirt white instead of ivory.

The dress is so elegant. Layers and layers of tulle with a silky ruched bodice. A beautiful sash trails down the side. Millinery flowers adorn the top.

Painted in shades of silvery greens and whites and set against a neutral gray background. THE SASH is actually more green (like the bodice) than the picture shows. I have taken a million pics but it still reads as gray. I think it may be because the camera is only seeing the top layer.

A beautiful addition to your collection or can certainly stand alone as a focal point.

Painted on a stretched canvas. Sides are painted so no frame is needed.

My new paintings are just lovely! They are exactly what I hoped for and they look delicious - they make me smile every time I look at them and am sure that they will have the same effect on anyone who sees them. Madelyn clearly talented but is also is very attentive - from when I processed the order to the packaging which she obviously took great care with. I very much appreciated it especially since the box was left outside in the rain. Truly a terrific shopping experience!
