The road curves along the lower edge of the composition before disappearing around the rocky hillside. A broad-canopied pine tree leans over the bend, while the coastline stretches into the distance through layers of cliffs, scattered houses and small white sailboats.

The red car is the strongest accent in the scene. Its warm color stands against the blue water and ochre stone without taking over the landscape, giving the artwork the feel of a summer road trip rather than a conventional automotive poster.

Deep cobalt covers most of the sea, while pale limestone, muted green foliage and a warm blue sky keep the surrounding coast dry and sunlit. Cream clouds add a softer break above the horizon.
