💚 The Story Behind the Design
Near my studio, there is a small pond hidden among the trees. In spring, water lilies quietly bloom on the surface, with weeping willows along the bank and wild water plants growing in and around the pond. It is a peaceful little place, yet always feels full of life.

I wanted to bring that feeling into this scarf—the water lilies, broad floating leaves, scattered plants, and the quiet depth of the water. Warm rust-red botanical prints move through the soft grey-green leaves, adding small touches of life to the cool, muted palette.

For the smoky grey background, I allowed a fruit-peel dye bath to oxidize in the air for a long time. The slow process developed these layered shades of silvery grey, giving the silk the feeling of an old, quiet pond with shadows moving beneath the surface.

Made from luminous mulberry silk satin, this scarf can be worn as a botanical art scarf or displayed as a unique piece of textile art.

❤️ Care
Gently hand wash separately in cool water with pH-neutral detergent. Please do not soak or bleach. Dry in the shade and iron on a silk setting if needed.

Each scarf is carefully wrapped in a handmade botanical eco-printed cotton bag.
