A quiet Japanese tea room opens onto a rain-soaked garden in this calm Japandi scene, with a teapot, tea bowl and open book waiting on a low wooden table.

Rain falls beyond the open shoji doors, darkening the veranda and garden stones outside. A red maple tree provides the strongest color in the scene, while fallen leaves collect around moss-covered rocks and the shallow water below.

A traditional rain chain hangs from the roof near the center of the garden. To the right, a bamboo water spout feeds a weathered stone basin, adding another small detail associated with Japanese garden spaces.
