💚 The Story Behind the Design

This scarf was created with a wild plant whose unusual flowers grow in long, delicate clusters. I have always loved the graceful form of these flowers, so I gathered them and preserved their natural shapes on silk.

The slender flower spikes curve and rise across the surface, while the small leaves create fine, rhythmic botanical traces. When the scarf is worn, these delicate details give it a strong and distinctive artistic character.

The dark background was naturally dyed with rose petals, creating a deep, smoky dried-rose tone with hints of plum and charcoal. As the mulberry silk satin catches the light, the color shifts gently between dusky purple and smoky grey.

Against this deep background, the wild plants appear as though they are still quietly growing after dusk. The scarf feels mysterious and untamed, yet also elegant and quietly classical.

Wildflowers After Dusk can be worn as an elegant silk scarf or displayed as a botanical textile artwork.

Gently hand wash separately in cool water with pH-neutral detergent. Please do not soak or bleach. Dry in the shade and iron on a silk setting if needed.
