A black handwoven basket bucket bag from Tanzania. Structured, roomy, and made by hand for everyday carry or a night out.

Handwoven by a collective of women in Iringa, Tanzania, led by Catherine Shembilu of Vikapu Bomba. Many of the weavers are widows who turned a traditional basket shape into something you'd carry every day. Each one takes about a week to make. We're not just selling a bag, we're sharing a culture we love.

SIZE (approximate): 6.9 in wide x 8.3 in tall x 3.1 in deep (17.5 x 21 x 8 cm). Height does not include handles or straps.

CARE: Spot clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Keep out of prolonged direct sun and standing water to protect the natural fiber and color. Store stuffed with tissue to help it hold its shape between wears.
