Designed and made in-house in Melbourne, Kino is a sculptural 3D-printed wall lamp built from wood-particle-infused PLA. Rather than mimicking a wood grain look, the wood particles change the surface itself, softening the finish into a matte, textured feel that's tactile and distinct from standard PLA. It’s also available in 4 matte colour options.

Its form draws quiet inspiration from Karesansui, the Japanese art of the raked zen garden, where rippling lines radiate outward from a single placed stone. Here, that stone becomes a softly glowing sphere at the heart of the lamp, with concentric arched channels fanning outward like ripples caught mid-motion, split down the centre by a striking vertical spine.

At the heart of Kino is a rechargeable magnetic LED bulb that snaps effortlessly into place with hidden magnets. Lift it away whenever you need portable light, then return it to its mount for a lamp that reads as a piece of wall art whether it's lit or dark. The bulb offers 3 colour temperatures (warm, neutral, and white light) and 4 brightness levels with stepless dimming from 10 to 100%, so you can tune the mood to suit the moment. A built-in 2000mAh battery charges fully via USB-C in around 2 hours and runs for 6 to 36 hours depending on brightness, no batteries ever required.

Kino comes with an included remote for full control from across the room: power, brightness, colour temperature, and a built-in timer (15/30/60/120 minutes), alongside the on-bulb button for quick adjustments by hand. The matte surface texture catches and softens light differently through the day, while the ribbed interior casts subtle shadows that shift and deepen as the arcs recede toward the edges, echoing the calm, meditative rhythm of raked gravel around stone.

To make mounting effortless, Kino includes a wall anchor designed for a fast, secure install, so there's no need to source your own hardware. Kino also introduces a purpose-built hanging hook, engineered directly into the design for a clean, effortless fit to the wall every time.
