Home Through the Ice, Great Lakes Christmas Cards, Tugboat Holiday Card Set, Winter Harbor Maritime Christmas Cards.

A working tugboat breaks through floating harbor ice toward the lights of a snow-covered Great Lakes town, where a lighthouse, grain elevator and waterfront Christmas tree welcome it home.
The tug fills the foreground with the weight and character of a real working vessel. Its hull is weathered, its wake is active and its red and green navigation lights remain on as it pushes through the fractured ice. A Christmas wreath hangs at the stern, while a small illuminated tree glows warmly through the wheelhouse windows.
Beyond the open-water channel, the destination is waiting. A working lighthouse burns beside the harbor entrance. Grain elevators rise above the waterfront, a church steeple marks the town center and warm lights spread across snow-covered homes and commercial buildings. A large Christmas tree stands near the water, reflected in the dark blue harbor.
Home Through the Ice is not a portrait of one specific city or vessel. It draws on the working ports, tugboats, winter navigation, industrial landmarks and close-knit waterfront towns found throughout the Great Lakes.
The card is especially suited to:
Great Lakes families and former lake-region residents
Tugboat crews, mariners and harbor workers
Lake-freighter and maritime-history enthusiasts
Port, terminal and marine-service professionals
Shipping, towing, grain and logistics companies
Lighthouse and working-waterfront enthusiasts
Lakefront inns, restaurants, museums and retailers
Clients who appreciate northern industrial heritage
Anyone who understands the meaning of coming home through difficult weather
